Painted Armed Forces veterans ‘invisible’ at locations across the country including a library in Manchester, a cafe in Plymouth and the Houses of Parliament to show they are invisible on the Census and urge Government to count them in. Over 500 pieces of earned media coverage including front pages in The Daily Telegraph, Daily Star and Metro, blanket broadcast from BBC News to the Today Programme and every major online title (including become the Guardian’s most viewed picture of the year online), prompted over 100 local authorities and a third of MPs to pledge their support in Parliament, which directly led to the Armed Forces being added to the Census in 2021.
